Sarah Marcus has more than 10 years of experience working in and with public education. Having served as a communications director and consultant to both large and small school districts, she has a unique perspective on the need for public relations, communications, and marketing in all aspects of public education.

As director of communications in Waller ISD, she developed the district's first communications plan and helped lead the district through its most successful bond election to date. In Lewisville ISD, she served as a zone communications coordinator and assistant public information officer. There, she helped lead communications efforts related to the district's strategic planning effort and coordinated multiple district-wide internal and external public relations initiatives. Her efforts helped revitalize and bolster the school-community relationship and served as a springboard for enhanced collaboration between the school and municipality.

During her time with Cambridge Strategics, she served as a trusted advisor to client districts nationwide in community relations and strategic planning. Both in-district and as a consultant, she has helped districts pass over $1 million in bond elections, served on facilities design teams, worked directly with architects to ensure clear logistics and communications, planned multiple groundbreaking ceremonies, and served as the media liaison for all bond and facilities related activities.
