Dr. Eddie Coulson has more than 30 years of experience in education. He served as superintendent, deputy superintendent for curriculum and instruction, and executive director for human resources in College Station ISD (CSISD) and personnel director, campus administrator, and teacher in Spring ISD.

During his tenure as superintendent in CSISD (2006-2014), Eddie was named Region VI Superintendent of the Year and was one of five finalists for the State of Texas Superintendent of the Year award. In addition, he passed $300 million in bond elections for new facilities, renovations, and technology, and participated on the design team for CSISD’s second comprehensive high school that focuses on innovative spaces for collaboration, flexible learning, and sight lines for teachers.

Eddie has been selected to serve on a variety of committees for the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) and his genuine passion to support and transform education for the betterment of all students makes him a well-respected leader and advisor to administrators and teachers alike.

Eddie received his Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University. He earned his Master of Educational Administration and Doctorate of Education from Sam Houston State University.
